Blom-Singer® Voice Prosthesis – Clinician Placement Only

Blom-Singer voice prostheses with Clinician-only placement are indicated for laryngectomees unable or unwilling to perform the routine removal and insertion necessary for cleaning and maintenance of patient-replaceable voice prostheses

Blom-Singer Clinician Only Placement voice prostheses are indicated for laryngectomees who are unable or unwilling to perform the routine removal and insertion necessary for cleaning and maintenance of patient-replaceable voice prostheses.
In addition to the 16 and 20 F sterile and non-sterile Classic models, the Advantage and Dual Valve models are available for patients prone to candida overgrowth. Both the Advantage voice prosthesis and the Dual Valve are treated with Silver Oxide, an antifungal agent that has been shown to eliminate or reduce the need for treatment with antifungal drugs.
The Blom-Singer Rapid Response voice prosthesis program is also available. This range of voice prostheses offers solutions to those patients who have special needs, such as prostheses with larger diameter flanges or particular prosthesis lengths.
